Learning That Begins With Love

At ABCD Daycare, we believe the earliest years are the most important — and the most joyful. Our programs are designed around one guiding principle: when children feel safe and loved, they learn.

Each room is led by patient, experienced educators who understand child development and take the time to know each child individually. We combine structured daily routines with plenty of open-ended play, creative expression, and outdoor time.

Following years of post-pandemic experience, our team is also specially attuned to supporting children navigating anxiety, behavioral challenges, and speech development — meeting each child exactly where they are.

Infants

Your baby deserves more than supervision — they deserve nurturing. Our infant room is designed to feel like a warm, calm home away from home, with responsive caregivers who follow your baby's natural rhythms for feeding, sleep, and play.

We focus on secure attachment, sensory exploration, and the development of trust — the true foundation of all future learning.

  • Low caregiver-to-infant ratios for individualized attention
  • Flexible feeding and sleep schedules aligned with your baby's needs
  • Sensory play, tummy time, and gentle stimulation activities
  • Daily updates so you stay connected to every milestone
  • Safe, clean, and soothing environment with age-appropriate materials

Toddlers

The toddler years are filled with curiosity, energy, and enormous growth. Our toddler room is built for little explorers — a safe space to move, discover, and start making sense of the world around them.

We emphasize language development, social-emotional skills, and growing independence — all within the safety of caring adult guidance.

  • Language-rich environment with songs, stories, and conversation
  • Hands-on exploration with sensory bins, art, and manipulatives
  • Structured group activities that build early social skills
  • Gentle guidance through big emotions and conflict resolution
  • Outdoor playtime every day, weather permitting

Preschool

Preschool is where the magic really begins. Children this age are ready to ask big questions, make new friends, and dive into creative projects. Our preschool program blends play-based learning with gentle academic foundations.

We build confidence, spark curiosity, and lay the groundwork for kindergarten — one story, one painting, and one discovery at a time.

  • Play-based curriculum with clear learning objectives
  • Art, music, movement, and dramatic play every week
  • Early literacy and numeracy through fun, hands-on activities
  • Building friendships and learning to navigate group dynamics
  • Regular outdoor exploration and gross motor activities

Pre-Kindergarten

Our Pre-K room is led by Ashley Lenz — the third generation of the Bjurstrom family — who brings both family passion and professional skill to preparing children for kindergarten and beyond.

Pre-K at ABCD is about more than academics. It's about helping children develop the confidence, curiosity, and social-emotional skills they need to step into kindergarten ready to shine.

  • School-readiness focus: letters, numbers, writing, and early reading
  • Guided by Ashley Lenz — 3rd-generation ABCD family educator
  • Strong emphasis on emotional regulation and self-advocacy
  • Creative and critical thinking through projects and inquiry
  • Collaboration with families to ensure a smooth kindergarten transition
  • Supportive environment for children navigating post-COVID developmental needs
